103 - LARGE PEWTER PEGASUS with Bellerophon (E13)
Cast in Pewter, this piece is the symbol for the British Airborne forces.

Pegasus, the winged horse of greek mythology carrying Bellerophon the young hero, to battle with, and slay, the multi-headed gorgon. Provide with its own turned wood base as depicted. The pewter is factory polished and will need the occasional (once a year) re-polish using a soft cloth and suitable pewter polish.

PEWTER PEGASUS ON WOODEN BASE.

BASE IS APPROX 2" AND STATUE IS APPROX 7".

LARGE 16 Air Assault Brigade Eagle (F23a)
Air Assault Eagle was made to commemorate the formation of 16 Air Assault Brigade. The eagle is positioned in flight with its claws outstretched, in the final instant before stooping to seize its prey. It measures 7" from feet to wingtip. It is provided with its own turned wood base as depicted. The pewter is factory polished and will need the occasional (once a year) re-polish using a soft cloth and suitable pewter polish.
