The Red Devils Freefall Team 55th Anniversary Polo Shirt

The 'Freds' are 55 Years old this year. Formed in 1964 by Lt Edward Gardener to show the professionalism and expertise of the Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces. The Team took The Regiment and Sport Parachuting into the public eye, dominating competitions and bringing new innovations and modern equipment onto British shores.

The Team are still going strong 55 years on, are recognised as the official British Army Display Team, and are regarded by far as the elite display team in the country. Although the techniques, equipment and especially jumpsuits may have changed over the decades, the professional aptitude and attitude of the serving men and women who have proudly worn the famous Red Jumpsuits under the banner of The Flying Pig has never changed. The desire to represent themselves, The Team and The Regiment to the best of their ability and to the highest professional standards is what makes a Red Devils Team Member.

This commemorative polo-shirt looks to capture the spirit of those amazing 55 years. The Flying Pig is set afore the number 55 on the left chest. Valkyrie, the teams' first aircraft is flying on the left sleeve. The Red Devils text with the Parachute Regiment Cap Badge within is on the right sleeve.
